The story takes place on Tokyo (as always), where various friends are eating on a local restaurant , Yoko ,one of the friends, arrives lately and explains that she was attending a funeral of a recent death friend , then a call is recieved by her phone by a particular tone , the number was Yoko´s number (herself) and the caller left a message , this message was dated two days later from the actual date and the message contained yoko´s voice screaming. Suddenly after various series of events takes place the starring protagonist discovers that everyone who will die this way they recieve a phone call before their deaths with the date and time of their upcomming death.
The Story was interesting , the plot was very common , the badguy was REALLY common , this movie ressembles very much to the motion picture "ringu" , but moving on
The movie is amusing , the deaths and the thrilling suspence is entretaining , but it doesnt really get the creeps out of you
Also , there is a time were the story becomes very confusing , and yet they dont explain what is happing and why
This doesnt made me jump , or terrify , its just entretaining....
A very overrated film by the fans of the genre , but i recommend this picture only if you have nothing to do or if you are a big fan of "ringu"
